And Miles To Go Before I Sleep...

Ask me anything!   Submit   Trey. Mizzou. Gay. Music Major. YOLO.

Off to Work…

…In a bit. It’s going well, I suppose. The only part that sucks is that, since it’s the middle of the day, it kinda destroys my prime-time for doing other things. Maybe I should stop being a loser and go out at night -.-

I really need to get to readin’ some of the books I got from the library. I only have one week left and I haven’t finished one of them. I read three books this summer in 48 hours—what’s wrong with me?! I should probably step up my game.

I hope you’re all having swell days. :)

A Brief Outline of My Noggin!

Thursday night I am cooking dinner for my stepmom and her mother. What on Earth do I make?! I’ve never done this before!

In other news, my anxiety is flaring up like a balloon this evening. It’s terrible and I feel like I might just implode at any second. Bleh.

Also, I have begun reading Deadeye Dick. It’s pretty interesting. I’m fond.

As of today, I have given up all soda in my life. Water is so tasty. Here in about an hour, I’m going for a run through my hilly neighborhood (I won’t make it far), but it will be a start. And until I get Insanity, I’ll do some nice old-fashioned crunches and push-ups, probably do something like what we always did for our marching band physical warm-ups.

I composed a little bit tonight, just for fun. I wrote a nice little motif down on a post-it note and slung it up on my mirror so that it will be forever ingrained into my mind.

I need to look into getting an oboe -.-

What’s happenin’ in your neck of the woods? :)

Back from the library! Ended up with “The Unbearable Lightness of Being” by Milan Kundera, “Deadeye Dick” by Kurt Vonnegut, “An American Tragedy” by Theodore Dreiser, and “Bossypants” by Tina Fey (her autobiography). I AM SO EXCITED. :D

Going to the Library

It’s one of my favorite activities, and I don’t care if that’s silly. There is something about the smell of them, the tranquility of so many people who can all be so quiet. The tiny sounds. The books; God, the books are wonderful. I could, and frequently do, spend hours at a time, reading covers, reading prologues, flipping pages, feeling the life of another dance and come to life before my eyes.

The library is just so great. :)
